The Natchez City Cemetery was established in 1822 and is home to many of the builders of the magnificent Natchez antebellum homes. The cemetery overlooks the Mississippi River and every November presents the annual Angels on the Bluff Tour, a local production of amateur actors in period costumes portraying some of the many characters buried in the cemetery through entertaining stories and musical tributes.
