    Vicksburg Battlefield Museum

    The Vicksburg Battlefield Museum seeks to give visitors a better understanding of the Siege of Vicksburg, one of the most complex battles of the Civil War. Displays include a 30 minute film, a diorama with over 2,500 miniature soldiers depicting the siege and a 4,000 square foot exhibition space displaying the world's largest collection of Civil War gunboat models.

    Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum

This museum, established by the local Biedenharn family, details how Joe Biedenharn was the first to bottle the soda product in 1894.     U.S.S. Cairo Gunboat and Museum

    Located in Vicksburg National Military Park are the recovered remains of the U.S.S. Cairo a City Class gunboat used by the Union Army during the Civil War. The museum showcases the gunboat, which sank in 1862 and was recovered in three pieces in 1964. There is also a museum displaying artifacts recovered from the ship.
